About Us

About Our Program

16 Week Program

FIRST F.R.A.C.T.U.R.E.D. participants will learn to:

  • Focus and act on what can be controlled and influenced, instead of what can’t.
  • Define clear measures of success and create a plan to achieve them for both life and work.
  • Prioritize and achieve the most important goals instead of constantly reacting to urgencies.
  • Develop innovative solutions that leverage diversity and satisfy all key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate more effectively with others by building high-trust relationships of mutual benefit.

About Our Instructor

Firstly, I have experienced the prison environment; and, the possible traps that one gets caught upon release whether on parole, house arrest or GPS tracking, through the completion of parole or probation and court supervision, as well as, community corrections work release.

Secondly: FIRST F.R.A.C.T.U.R.E.D.  “Limited” was born, constructed and designed within the prison system. Whereas the facilitation of this program helped to dramatically change the thinking, character and practices of approximately 160 of the 175 men that were participants in the Plus (People Living under Service) program, functioning within the then Short -Term Offender Program (Old Indiana Boy’s School).

Similarly: at the Indiana Reformatory, FIRST F.R.A.C.T.U.R.E.D.  “Limited” was facilitated to 16 men and one counselor, all of which completed the program successfully. Whereas, during this function the final design was bound; because the plan of action was designed to tackle problems, the bases were covered.

Thus, was my inspiration to establish the program, as a reentry program for those of us who desire change in their lives? Wherefore, during facilitations within the Fathers and Families program; as well as, the 25th Street Baptist Church (S.A.M.’s) Substance Abuse Ministry. I discovered that the program needed to be revamped for publication and facilitation to the community at large, forces that act to keep the problems from changing (social structures, cultural traditions, ideology, lack of knowledge etc., and the driving forces that push change forward (dissatisfaction with the way things are, opinion, education efforts, employment and other alternatives).
